Course Completion Policy

This course provides 40 hours of instruction in essential real estate topics required of all applicants for a broker license in Massachusetts. The course prepares learners for the Massachusetts licensing exam and provides the practical business knowledge and foundation necessary to be a successful real estate salesperson in Massachusetts. Topics include real estate licensing laws and regulations, ethical standards, basic principles of real estate, real estate agency and contracts, real estate financing principles and practices, and real estate valuation. Note: Some sections of this course are offered only when the instructor is available to support students online.

The following requirements must be met in order for the course to be considered complete.

  • Viewing of course content must be 100% complete.
  • A recording of 40 hours spent in the course per state mandate.
  • The final step in the process is to complete the ID process. The certificate of completion will NOT be issued until this is complete.
  • Course expiration date is 6 months ( unless stated otherwise ) . The stamped course completion form is good for two years.

The course system will log the time spent and course progress. Where required by state rules, the course will not be considered “complete” until the required time is met.

State and National practice exams must be passed with 70% or better. Unlimited attempts are allowed. There are two exams: One state and one national. We do NOT provide the licensing exam nor does the Mass. Licensing Division.

Course expiration dates may vary by course.

Your registered courses with Miranda Group will eventually expire. Any course that is registered will have one month to start. If user purchases course and starts, they have 6 months to complete. Once user completes and receives school stamp it goes to history. Your certificate will be emailed to you. Stamped forms emailed or mailed.

The certificate of completion will NOT be issued until this is complete. Manipulating our course to show advancement of time spent or completion will remove your ability to earn your certification | PSI stamp of completion and no refunds will be given.

Course expiration dates may vary by course.

Manipulating | Lying | Hacking

Manipulating, lying, or hacking our systems, courses, or employees will not be tolerated. Doing so will expel you from any courses currently active. There will be NO refunds, Certificate of completion will not be given, and course material will not be accessible. A record will be kept for the licensing division and brokerages inquiring ethicality.

MISREPRESENTING STUDENT IDENTITY

The final step in the process is to complete the digital signature / identification process. The certificate of completion will NOT be issued until this is complete.

Misrepresentation of identity will not be tolerated. There will be NO refunds, Certificate of completion will not be given, and course material will not be accessible.

Miranda Group is committed to student satisfaction. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, Miranda Group will refund the purchase price of any course if the refund request is submitted within 3 days of purchase, prior to course expiration, and the course is not more than 5% completed or progression past the 5th lesson ( which ever is less ). Partial credit is not given for any course.

Refunds are not available for courses below $50 in value.

Refunds are not available for courses, coupons, or vouchers purchased through third party vendors.

All tuition costs are subject to change.

Non-course Refund and Returns Policy

Our refund and returns policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use.
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email or contact our chat feature.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should contact us.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Reasonable Accommodation Policy

Promotional Codes

Promotional codes must be applied at checkout. No refund for an unused promotional code will be given after checkout has been completed. To obtain your promotional code discount, you must enter the promotional code in the box requesting at checkout. The discount amount will then be subtracted from the total amount due. Promotional codes can not be combined and are not eligible for use in conjunction with payment plans, extensions, or additional continuing education certificates.

Privacy

Miranda Group values your privacy and your personal information. Miranda Group may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and Miranda Group encourages you to review its Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy whenever you interact with Miranda Group to stay informed. Miranda Group’s Privacy Policy conforms with the Massachusetts Consumer Data Privacy Act requirements.

Outside of the limited instances provided below, Miranda Group only collects personal information from you that you provide directly to Miranda Group that is required to be collected in the normal course of Miranda Group’s business so that you may register, pay, complete your regulatory course, and your regulatory course completion can be reported to the applicable regulatory agency.

Regarding requests by you to delete personal information provided to us by you pursuant to paragraph 2 above, Miranda Group is unable to honor such requests as it is governed by various regulatory agencies which require us to retain the personal information you provide to us. Miranda Group collects the following types of personal information:

Student name, student address/billing address, student telephone number, student email, student real estate license/driver’s license number, and student payment information.

There are limited instances in which we will provide your information to a third party. These are:

  1. Miranda Group may provide your information to your referral source (you came to Miranda Group Website through the referring third party). By purchasing from Miranda Group and thus agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you hereby grant Miranda Group permission to provide your information to the referral source.
  2. Miranda Group may provide/sell your information to those third parties for the particular purpose that you specifically grant permission for or opt in to in other parts of the Website.
  3. Miranda Group may provide your information as required to third party regulatory agencies to comply with state regulatory requirements, such as state licensure rules and state taxation requirements.
