Miranda Group values your privacy and your personal information. Miranda Group may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and Miranda Group encourages you to review its Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy whenever you interact with Miranda Group to stay informed. Miranda Group’s Privacy Policy conforms with the Massachusetts Consumer Data Privacy Act requirements.

Outside of the limited instances provided below, Miranda Group only collects personal information from you that you provide directly to Miranda Group that is required to be collected in the normal course of Miranda Group’s business so that you may register, pay, complete your regulatory course, and your regulatory course completion can be reported to the applicable regulatory agency.

Regarding requests by you to delete personal information provided to us by you pursuant to paragraph 2 above, Miranda Group is unable to honor such requests as it is governed by various regulatory agencies which require us to retain the personal information you provide to us. Miranda Group collects the following types of personal information:

Student name, student address/billing address, student telephone number, student email, student real estate license/driver’s license number, and student payment information.

There are limited instances in which we will provide your information to a third party. These are:

  1. Miranda Group may provide your information to your referral source (you came to Miranda Group website through the referring third party). By purchasing from Miranda Group and thus agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you hereby grant Miranda Group permission to provide your information to the referral source.
  2. Miranda Group may provide/sell your information to those third parties for the particular purpose that you specifically grant permission for or opt in to in other parts of the Website.
  3. Miranda Group may provide your information as required to third party regulatory agencies to comply with state regulatory requirements, such as state licensure rules and state taxation requirements.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
